Welcome to Buena Vista Healthcare! We are a family-owned and independent NDIS Registered Provider, proudly supporting participants across Brisbane, Rockhampton, Townsville and Newcastle, NSW. Our dedicated team offers Occupational Therapy Functional Capacity Assessments, Support Coordination, Psychosocial Recovery Coaching, Physiotherapy, and Support Work. We focus on you and your goals, working alongside you to help you achieve your best version of yourself.

A functional capacity assessment is a detailed allied health assessment that looks at how a person manages daily activities (like mobility, self‑care, communication and social interaction) to clarify strengths, support needs and NDIS funding requirements
We have immediate capacity in all of our locations.
We also offer private FCAs with payment plans.

A Support Coordinator helps NDIS participants understand their plan, connect with services, and build the skills to manage their supports independently.
A Psychosocial Recovery Coach helps people with psychosocial disabilities build confidence, connect with supports, and work towards their recovery goals.
Our Story
Buenavista started with a question Don and I kept coming back to: could we build a service that was professional and dependable, but still felt personal?
I’d spent many years working alongside people with a wide range of day-to-day and complex support needs. Don brought experience leading teams in safety, quality and operations, as well as building service businesses of his own. We came from different backgrounds, but we shared a belief that good support starts with listening, being clear about what you can do and treating people with respect.
The name Buenavista is personal to us. It honours my mother and her journey from the Philippines to Australia to make a new life for our family. Her courage and care are part of the reason we wanted to build something that puts people first.
Today, we’re fortunate to work with a team of health professionals and Support Coordinators. Our team brings experience across paediatrics, psychosocial and mental health support, surgery and orthopaedics, and helping participants navigate their NDIS plans. We know every person’s circumstances are different, so we take the time to understand what matters to them and what support may be useful.
We’re still a family-run business, and we want people to feel that in the way we work: approachable, respectful and accountable. Our aim is to help people take practical steps towards the life they want to lead.
